83rd Annual FFA National Convention - October 20 - 23, 2010  

FFA Members from around the country will be descending on Indianapolis, Indiana on October 20 for the 83rd Annual FFA National Convention. Florida will be well represented by our newly elected State FFA Officers and FFA members who will be competing for National recognition for their projects.

Highlights from the 2009 82nd Annual National FFA Convention!

The 82 Annual Convention was an exciting one! There were 53,473 members, advisors and guests enjoying the activities of the week. The 15,000 Florida FFA members were well represented by 13 National Delegates. Florida FFA members were also very successful at this prestigious event.

National First Place winners from Florida were:

Farm Business Management: Blountstown FFA Chapter

Forestry: Blountstown FFA Chapter

Engineering, Agriscience Fair Division Two: Charlton Cheng of Ferguson FFA Chapter

Outstanding Middle School: David C. Hinson Middle FFA Chapter

Team Gold Medal Winners from Florida were:

Agricultural Sales, 3rd Place: East Ridge FFA

Nursery and Landscape, 3rd Place: Lennard FFA

Parliamentary Procedure, 4th Place: Williston Senior FFA

The following individuals were recognized in the top 10 for their accomplishments in the career development events:
