In Honor / In Memory Of Someone Special

     When we lose someone - someone close to us, a relative, a fellow worker, or a friend, the loss is painful.   In the sorrow that follows such a loss, there is the wish to honor the departed.  There is also the deep need to make a meaningful, lasting, and effective tribute.  At times like these, many find solace in dedicating a Memorial Gift to the Florida FFA Foundation.

     This Memorial Gift provides a way to perpetuate the memory of a life - a life that has been lost.  It offers a way to provide an effective, meaningful, and personal tribute to a friend or loved one.  Besides providing a meaningful tribute to a friend or loved one, your gift will reach into the lives of thousands of young people - young people who will be better people - because of your gift.  Your memorial gift will help the FFA in its great mission - its mission of building a greater America, of building moral fiber, self reliance, and personal integrity in young FFA members.  Your gift has a positive impact on the future of America through the FFA Foundation.

     Remembering a friend or loved one with a memorial gift to the FFA Foundation is appropriate any time.  Special memorial gifts during anniversaries, birthdays, special events - or when we feel the loss - are most appropriate.

     When a Memorial Gift is made, the family of the deceased is notified with a memorial card carrying the name of the person for whom the gift has been given and the name(s) of the person(s) who made the gift.  The amount of the gift is not indicated.  An acknowledgement also goes to the contributor(s).

     A Memorial Gift may be designated for a given program.  Substantial gifts of $15,000 or more will allow a scholarship to be founded in the name of the deceased.  If the gift is not restricted, the funds are placed in the FFA Memorial Scholarship Fund or Annual Development Fund.
