Advancing the Vision - New Construction

The meeting and dining facilities of the Leadership Training Center have grown faster than its lodging facilities. Since 2003, due to lack of space, the Center has had to pass up more than $700,000 worth of bookings. FFA Chapters are expecting substantial growth in membership in the next few years. The agricultural industry will continue to need more competent young people who are prepared to assume leadership roles. Clearly, this is the right time for the Foundation to "advance the vision" that inspired the creation of the FFA Leadership Training Center and fueled its success over the past fifteen years.

The expansion of the facility will include:

Two new annex buildings adjacent to the existing Lodge providing 40 additional lodging rooms

Four new additional villas providing 28 additional lodging rooms.

An outdoor pavilion for events including meetings,weddings, birthday parties and family reunions

A Maintenance Building to replace the present

makeshift facilities.

The cost of the new construction will total approximately $3.4 million.
